The Beginning

Greg and Ronnie found themselves in the heart of downtown Orangeburg during the pandemic. They fell in love with the feel of Russell St. The beautiful buildings and the walkability, it reminded them of an old New York. 

A lot was missing as far as shopping and walking, but Greg saw that perhaps we could bring a fresh start and he and Ronnie opened Broughton St. Cafe and Ice Cream in May of 2022. Located on the corner of Russell and Broughton in downtown Orangeburg, SC. They have created a unique cozy environment that allows people to come into this modern chic environment to enjoy coffee, croissant melts, ice cream and good conversation.

Whether you choose to sit on the comfy couch with the window view or at a table. This cafe has become the place to be when you work from home and need a change of scenery, when having a lunch meeting or driving thru and needing a pit stop. You are guaranteed to receive a warm smile and a genuine hello when you come through the doors.
